My first watercolor class was plein air at the University. I have worked in oil, and acrylic media, but always return to watercolor. I like to draw with pen and ink finish with a watercolor wash, but often deviate from this technique. My wife, Salinda, and I travel extensively but always stop to paint plein air along the way. My entry "Breakwater Lighthouse" was painted plein air.
